“Bow ties, Tutus & Pawsonality”
Welcome To Our First Ever Rescue Road Dog Calendar Fund Raiser!!!
This page will tell you everything you need to know!
This is a limited edition calendar to benefit Rescue Road. Rescue Road’s mission is to redirect happy, healthy, adoptable dogs from high-kill shelters into other networks to find their families. Your support helps for the cost associated with care, healthcare, transport and all costs associated with rescuing these dogs from high kill shelters.
“Who is this for?”
Our first fund raiser will feature a dog calendar with dogs under 20 lbs. To participate in this calendar, your dog must be 20 lbs or less. Your dog must be somewhat trained to sit still, and your dog should not be overly fearful of people or strangers. Your dog should be house trained. Your dog doesn’t have to be the best behaved dog in the world by any means, but a reasonable standard of behavior should apply.
“When will the session take place?”
Your session will last 30 minutes or less. It will take place on December 13, in Benton, Ar.
“What is the cost?”
Please see the notes below. There is a required minimum donation to Rescue Road for your pet’s “sitting fee”. You may purchase any # of calendars (see below). Proceeds from the calendar also go to Rescue Road. You may also purchase additional products such as prints, acrylic blocks, Holiday Cards, metal prints and more. Print proceeds support the photographer & photographer’s equipment which is donated to this cause.
“What will the calendar feature ?”
Your dog may pick a bow tie or tutu from the selection, or you may bring your own. The calendar will be done on an all white background, and in the “negative space” will feature your dog’s name as well as 1 “Pawsonality” trait about your dog. Ideally as no two dogs are alike, try to think of a character trait that is unique to your dog. (we hope to not have 12 photos of dogs with the same character trait 🙂 )
“How do I participate”
Step 1. Make a MINIMUM donation of $35 to Rescue Road (you’re welcome to donate more)
Step 2. Contact me with your donation receipt and schedule your sitting time on December 13. You must contact me in advance.
Step 3. Come at your scheduled time December 13. We will do your dog’s photo shoot. Final image for the calendar will be chosen by the photographer and Rescue Road Staff.
At the completion of your session, you may make any purchases you wish including calendar(s), prints, Holiday Cards or speciality items. While it is not required that you purchase any product or item, should you anticipate you may do so, please bring a method of payment.
