My name is Lily Rose Selman. I share my middle name with my grandmother, which she loves. I am 15 years old, which I hear makes me a super senior. I agree that I am Super! My mom adopted me when I was just six weeks old and I have been spoiled every day since.
I have two favorites- rotisserie chicken and steak bites from my Papa. He cooks a steak for us every Wednesday and they are always perfect!
I love to chase bunnies and kitties, but have no idea what I would do if I ever caught one! I also love to bark at the deer in the backyard. They are so pretty!
My favorite place to go, of course… that would be my Nana and Papa’s house. It’s just like home except I get away with more.
Snuggle, belly rubs and hanging out on the porch sniffing the air are some of my favorite things to do with my humans….
But for fun, rummaging through the trash often gets me in the most trouble.
If I could have any job in the world….I think I’d make a good Rotisserie chicken quality control inspector
I do still love to collect socks, but they dont taste like chicken like you might expect…. I have been known to disappear with quite a stash from my mom’s suitcase.
Sometimes it takes awhile to pick the perfect place to poo… humans often wonder why it takes so long but there’s a criteria: Perfect aroma and the grass must be short enough to not tickle my hiney.
My photo shoot was grand! I love being the center of attention. I really enjoyed being on top of the hay bale and then watching my mom freak out when I jumped off. It was so funny! I felt bad for my mom when she got into the fire ant mound, but she was a trooper. Mrs Abby and Mr Jory were so good to me and made sure I felt like the princess that I am!
When asked what makes Lily special, here is what her human had to say “Since I never had children of my own, Lily has been my baby girl for over 15 years. She has celebrated the highest joys with me and licked many, many tears away during the devastating sad times. Just running my fingers through her fur can make any day better. She has the sweetest disposition and funniest personality. She loves everyone and relishes in every bit of attention. I cherish every day with her and know that I am beyond blessed to have her. She’s an angel with four legs and a tail. “
