Commission Process

I offer 3 photo art commissions from which you may choose.  Each commission is unique, and all commissions include an art credit that you may use towards your artwork at your proofing appointment.

To Simplify the process, here are the steps to securing a commission: 

1. Choosing your commission (based on the link attached) & Securing your session date with the initial payment/ Questionnaire
2. Pre session consultation and planning (choosing location, clothing choices, etc, all based on your questionnaire and our discussions)
3. The portrait session
4. Proofing appointment (this is where you will use your art credit to purchase any prints/ products you may like)
5. Artwork delivery

The Commissions

Luxe

Celebrate your loved ones and the moments that matter in the most magnificent way possible: The Luxe Session.

The Luxe Session is optimal for those wanting more time to capture multiple family poses as well as individual poses.  Larger family groups, clients with multiple pets wanting a variety of group and individual poses, high school seniors, to name a few, love the Luxe session.

Clients who choose the Luxe Commission may choose to break their time into (2) short sessions in separate locations for a great variety of poses and scenery: I highly recommend this option!

Clients seeking the Luxe commission are often discerning and seeking higher quality wall art. They are impressed by our hand carved, American Made Frames, and our painter canvases embellished with acrylics. A beautiful, priceless, heirloom that is the talk of the room is usually what these clients are looking for.

The Luxe Commission includes

• a pre planning consultation,
• 90 minute session (or 2 45 minute sessions),
• proofing and ordering appointment,
• $450 art credit to use towards the artwork of your choice.

The Luxe Commission is paid in (2) separate payments of $350 plus tax (total $700 + tax), with  (1) payment due in advance to book and the other due the day of your session.

Minimalist

 

The Minimalist Commission is great for those who are looking for a session that is short, sweet, and to the point. It’s great for a single location (indoors or outdoors), and a single outfit. A great option for a family portrait with your pet, pet only sessions, or childhood milestones with pets.

 

 

The Minimalist Commission includes

• a pre-planning consultation,
• 45 minute session,
• proofing and ordering appointment,
• $250 credit to use towards the prints of your choice

The Minimalist Commission is paid in (2) separate payments of $200 plus tax ($400 + tax), with 1 payment due in advance to secure booking and the other due the day of the session .

Fine Art Studio Black & White

 

Fine Art Studio Black and White Relationship portraits are unique and one of a kind. The goal is to capture a special bond and relationship between the subjects. What better way to show your loved ones how much they mean to you than a lasting art piece that captures that bond! Black and White relationship portraits are great for parents and children (both new and growing) as well as siblings, grandparents, or pet owners with their pets.

Fine Art Studio Black & White Commissions includes:

• 1 pre-planning consultation,
• 1 hour studio session,
• proofing and ordering appointment
• $250 credit to use towards the art work of your choice

Black and White Commissions are paid in (2) separate payments of $200 plus tax (total $400 + tax), with  (1) due in advance to secure booking and the other due the day of your session.

Fine Art Printing

Each of the commissions includes an art credit to use towards the heirloom artwork of your choice.  Your masterpiece should be passed down for generations, and should be the focal point of your room.

As a general reference, fine art print pricing includes:

• Wall Art – Starting at $400 (16 x 20)  and up depending on size; with a plethora of custom sizes available up to 50″
• Custom Framing – Starting at $75 for desk prints and $200 for wall prints.  We offer a number of framing options from simple contemporary to hand crafted/ hand carved pieces.
• Petit Prints– Starting at $60 (5×7), $75 (8×10) ; with 25% off after your purchase of a custom wall piece 20″ or larger

Most clients enjoy creating a custom collection of their favorite wall pieces coupled with an album and petit prints added on at a savings after their wall art purchase.

Most people use these starting points as a general reference and dont make any concrete decisions until we go over their proofs. Having general idea of what you “might” do with the finished prints can help me shoot intentionally for that purpose, however, and we can discuss this at your pre-consultation.

Booking Process

If you feel ready to book, or have further questions, please contact me. I can help make a recommendation on the commission that might work best for you. I can also discuss dates, as well as answer any further questions you may have about artwork, display, printing, etc. When clients are ready to book, we discuss a tentative date and I send over a questionnaire and agreement. Clients return the agreement with the first payment to secure the date. The second payment of your commission is not due until the day of your session.
